Year 3 have been thinking about the problems of plastic bags this year.  They have made some fantastic recycled calendars and packaging and it made me think about how many plastic bags we must use in Otley.  Did you know it can take 400 years for a plastic bag to rot away and many bags can end up in our rivers, lakes and oceans casuing pollution and dangers to marine life.  On the other hand, plastic bags are very handy and inexpensive….  What do you think?
