The School Day

The school day starts at 8:50am and finishes at 3:15pm.  Registration is from 8.50am to 9.00am.

Morning Playtimes

All children have a joint playtime from 10.50 - 11.05 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  On Thursday, Key Stage 2 have playtime from 10:30 - 10:45 and Key Stage 1 have playtime from 10:50- 11:05.

Playtimes in Nursery and Reception are more flexible.

Lunch

Children in Reception, Y1 and Y2 have their lunch between 12:00-1.00pm.  Y3 – Y6 children have their lunch between 12:20-1.15pm.  

Drop-off and Collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents.  If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know.  This avoids any confusion or upset.

Getting to School

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have scooter and bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park with consideration for our neighbours. Please also note that the speed limit on all roads around the school is 20 m.p.h.
