Mrs Smith is the Year 1 class teacher. She loves working in Year 1 and seeing the amazing progress they make. Mrs Smith leads DT across the school and leads the School Council.

Mrs Booth, Mrs Johnson and Mrs Pafrate are our fabulous teaching assistants who support the children with their learning.
​
The Year 1 classroom is a happy and positive place where children are valued and encouraged to develop as learners and individuals. Our door is always open and if you have any questions we’ll always try and help.
PE days
PE takes place on the following days:

Children need to come into school in their PE uniform on their PE days
Homework
In Year 1, we encourage the children to complete the following homework on a weekly basis:

Reading with a grown up 3 times​
