Mrs Binks and Mrs Nunn teach Year 2, helped by Mrs Hawley.  We love seeing children develop their many talents and grow as individuals within a community during their time here.  It is really important to us that we have fun in Year 2, and take our learning beyond school - there's always something new to find out about!

Mrs Binks teaches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs Nunn teaches on Thursday and Friday. Mrs Binks is RE subject leader. Mrs Nunn is our SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) and music subject leader.

Year 2 Class Newsletter Summer 2023

PE days

PE takes place on the following days:

  • Tuesday

  • Thursday


Children need to come into school in their PE uniform on their PE days

Homework

In Year 2, we encourage the children to complete the following homework on a weekly basis:

​​

  • Reading with a grown up 3 times​

  • Numbots / TT Rockstars 3 times

  • Spellings

 

We would love to see any learning that your child does at home during our show and tell slot on Wednesdays and Fridays
